Parents as Teachers of Mason County

About Parents as Teachers

Parents as Teachers of Mason County is a free home visitation program for pregnant women and families with young children to learn how to improve their family's health and provide better opportunities for their children. Families receive support from a trained parent educator who visits their house on scheduled days. These visits are geared towards the needs of the parents which could include caring for their babies, helping parents understand child development milestones and behaviors, learning positive parenting techniques, and connecting them to resources in our community.

If you are interested in enrolling in Parents as Teachers of Mason County, please fill out the Parent Informational Questionnaire or contact the program coordinator (hablamos español),
