DCYF COVID-19 Updates: Using a question and answer format, DCYF focuses information on child care during this crisis. It also provides updates on statewide plan to address the spread of COVID-19 and any new developments on the disease.Topic examples include subsidies, screening & prevention,

Washington Connection offers a fast and easy way for families and individuals to apply for a variety of services such as Food, Cash, Child Care, Long-Term Care, and Medicare Savings Programs.
Do you need essential supplies for your child care center?
Child Care Aware of Washington is working to deliver essential supplies to child care providers in need. There are two main ways to request supplies:
- Update the survey that was emailed directly to you from Child Care Aware of Washington (at the end of March).
- Contact your Early Achievers coach and inform them of your needs.
Report openings at your child care facility or closure:
K-12 school and workplace closures are impacting children, families and providers. Child Care Aware of Washington’s Family Center, has ramped up and is now Washington’s Child Care COVID-19 Communications, Response and Referral Center and tracks both provider closures and openings so we can provide accurate referrals to families seeking care. Call 1-800-446-1114 if:
- Your child care facility closes.
- Your child care facility has openings. You will be asked about the age(s) you can serve and whether you take Working Connections Child Care subsidy.
