This is a book club for those who like to read, reflect, and discuss. Discovering the Culture of Childhood is a 187-page book will help you see childhood through a whole new lens. Using research and stories from around the world, author Emily Plank explores various elements of childhood culture: language, the power of believing, artistic expressions, and social structure. Price includes all three sessions and a book to keep. You will be given the book and reading assignments upon registration. You must attend all three sessions (2/28, 3/28 & 4/25) and will earn 6 STARS hours for your participation and between-class reading.

Registration Reminders

 Registration is required 48 hours prior to class.
 Registration and payments are not accepted at class.
 Those arriving more than 15 minutes late will not receive a certificate or refund.
 Class cancellations will be posted on our training calendar, and registrants will be notified.
 Full refunds will only be issued by calling and cancelling registration by 12 p.m. the day before class. 
 No child care available. Our classes are designed for adults only and we do not allow children in the class.
