This is part 4 of a 4-part series for center directors or assistants, meeting 12-2:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, Nov. 10, Dec. 8, and Jan. 12. (8 STARS hours upon completion of all 4 required sessions.) Well-trained and experienced staff are the key to early childhood program quality and healthy child development. Skills in recruitment, interviewing, screening, selecting, and orienting new teachers are ones that every director needs. This session breaks down these components into manageable parts and suggests practical and effective techniques to help directors find competent and capable teachers.  This $80 class is offered to directors at Early Achiever sites for $40, due to regional grant funding through Early Achievers.  Don't delay!
