Child Care Action Council hosts several types of events throughout the year including our Warm Hearts signature fundraising event, the early learning Build Off fun fair, Carousel Early Learning Conference for child care providers, and the World Largest Swim Lesson teaching water safety skills. 
 
 

 

Party with a Purpose, December 10, 2018: 

Join us to party with a purpose while helping make sure all kids in Thurston County have quality early learning opportunities. Tickets include two glasses of wine and heavy appetizers. All proceeds benefit the Family Service program of child Care Action Council. Adults only please.

Warm Hearts Luncheon, February 21, 2019: 

This event attracts more than 200 business partners and community leaders each year. Sponsorship exposure is focused through the CCAC website, social media, newsletters, our annual report, and event-specific benefits. Carousel Early Learning Conference, April 13, 2019:

Save the Date! The 2019 Carousel Early Learning Conference will be held on Saturday, April 13 at Grays Harbor College, Aberdeen. Carousel is brought to you by Child Care Action Council and brings together child care providers, center directors, family care providers, tribal staff, ECEAP/Head Start teachers, and other early learning professionals. The 2019 conference will feature a special track for infant and toddler teachers, as well as a new session for center directors. Registration will open in early March.

 


 

World's Largest Swimming Lesson, June 20, 2019:

The World's Largest Swimming Lesson brings together tens of thousands of individuals from hundreds of communities around the globe who all participate in the same lesson over the course of a 24-hour period to raise awareness about drowning and the fact that swimming is a vital life-saving skill that every child should learn. This is a free community event. 

 


 

 

Build Off for Early Learning, August 21, 2019:

We are excited to hold our second annual early learning fun fair on August 21, 2019! Expect another fun-filled day for the whole family to enjoy arts & crafts, bubble making, safety games, and chance to build the tallest structure out of 500 Keva planks!
