With only a few weeks until school starts up again for Thurston County kids, Child Care Action Council will hold an early learning fun fair to bring play and learning together; energizing kids for the upcoming school year.
Jean Hill-Miller retires after 49 years in early learning
At the end of July, the staff at Child Care Action Council wished Jean Hill-Miller a happy retirement for her dedication to our mission for the past 10 years, and over 49 years working in early learning/childhood education! She will be greatly missed! We thank her for everything she has done to support children, families and their caregivers, and teachers over the years and we wish her the best in retirement.
“It was too short!” rang out a chorus of kid voices as they were climbing out of the pool from their swim lesson. Over 50 kids and parents joined approximately 40,000 other participants around the globe in the World’s Largest Swim Lesson event to learn about water safety on June 21, 2018.
