2019 Warm Hearts Soup Bowl Fundraiser
The banquet room was abuzz at the Lacey Community Center on February 21 for the 11th Annual Warm Hearts Luncheon benefitting the Child Care Action Council (CCAC). Over 180 community members came together to show their support for children, families, and early learning. The event was successful in raising over $32,000 to support the CCAC Family Services Program, including BlockFest, Kaleidoscope Play and Learn, Parents as Teachers, Raising A Reader, Margie’s Crisis Nursery, and Safe Kids Thurston County. Each program provides early learning support or services for families and impacts the lives of over 6,000 young children each year.
The 11th annual Warm Hearts fundraiser received financial sponsorship from many other local businesses and organizations, including title sponsor WSECU. Program sponsors Molina Healthcare, Neil Woody McSwain & Company, and Olympia Federal Savings. As well as sustaining sponsorship from Alaffia, Commencement Bank, Forma Construction, Kiley Juergens Wealth Management, and Twin Star Credit Union. Community sponsors included Bron’s automotive, GHB Insurance, Graphic Communications, Heritage Bank, HomeStreet Bank, Nicholson & Associates Insurance, The Other Guys Inc., Sound Credit Union, Tammy’s Ceramic Shop, and Timberland Bank.
